Data controller

The data controller is Alterspec.

What we process

• Demo request form: full name, work email, company, industry, your optional message, page language and the time of the request.
• To prevent abuse of the form, a salted one-way hash of your IP address and your browser information. We do not store your IP address itself.
• Server access logs: technical records such as IP address, date and requested page, kept for security.

Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to your demo request and scheduling the meeting. Legal basis: processing directly related to entering into a contract you initiated (KVKK Art. 5/2‑c) and our legitimate interest (Art. 5/2‑f).
• Protecting the form and the site against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 5/2‑f).
• Meeting our legal obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 5/2‑ç).

We do not rely on explicit consent for these purposes.

How we collect it

Form data is collected electronically when you submit the form. Technical records are created automatically when you visit the site.

Where it is stored and transfers

Form data and technical records are stored on our server in Türkiye.

We use Google Workspace email to notify us of new requests and to reply to you by email. Its servers are located outside Türkiye, so your name, email address, company, industry and message are transferred abroad as part of that correspondence.

We do not otherwise share, sell or use your data for advertising. We may share it with competent public authorities where the law requires.

Retention

• Demo request records: two years from the date of the request.
• IP hash and browser information: 30 days.
• Server access logs: 14 days.
• Backups: 30 days.

When the period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use cookies. If you change the theme, your choice is stored only in your browser and is never sent to us. We use no analytics or advertising tools, and fonts are served from our own server.

Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your data is processed and request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to know the recipients in Türkiye or abroad, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request deletion or destruction, to request that these actions be notified to recipients, to object to a result produced solely by automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

You can send your request to support@alterspec.com from the email address you used in the form. We resolve requests free of charge within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can file a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.

Changes

We may update this notice. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
